I really enjoyed my last Underwater Tour of Maui with Atlantis Submarines a couple of months ago. They make it fun and informative.

To enhance its sub tour experience and help improve the marine environment, Atlantis Submarines Maui embarked on creating an artificial reef in December 2005 by sinking the aged Carthaginian replica of a 19th century supply vessel, that had been sitting at Lahaina Harbor. You can still see the Carthaginian on older postcards of Lahaina Harbor.

The Maui Submarine tour starts with a quick and enjoyable ride on the Atlantis Submarine shuttle boat, out to where the Maui Submarine has it’s dive location.

The Maui Submarine ride is about 45 Minutes long.  With RT Shuttle service allow about 1.5 hours for the Tour. (2 hours with check in at Atlantis Shop at the Pioneer Inn; adjacent to the Lahaina Harbor and the Banyan Tree)
